The standard engine in the F-250 is the 6.2L Flex Fuel Gas V8. With 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, you’ll have plenty of push to get around worksites and across town. This V8 is mated to the TorqShift Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift-G™ automatic transmission that provides responsive power and smooth shifts.

6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel

This available turbo diesel has been upgraded for 2020 with a new 36,000-psi fuel-injection system to boost combustion. Featuring a newly redesigned electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger, the Power Stroke Diesel is able to offer better throttle response.

The 6.7L V8 Turbo Diesel snags best-in-class ratings for both power and torque, too, providing 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. You can count on this tough engine to last, with a stronger block, cylinder heads, connector rods and bearings, and new forged-steel pistons.
