When you are on the road, you don't expect that anything will happen to you, your occupants, or the vehicle you're driving. But, stranger things have happened, and bad luck can turn up unexpectedly wherever you are. If you happen to have some bad luck and your car breaks down with no one to help, you'll need an roadside emergency kit.
You can include a number of different items in your kit, and here are just a few to help you get started with putting one together:
1. Include jumper cables.
2. A small flashlight with a powerful beam for low or no light and batteries.
3. Food and water in case you're broken down for a long period of time, especially if you have small kids traveling with you.
4. A spare tire fully inflated.
If you include the basics plus a little more depending on your needs, you can make a roadside emergency a little easier!
